Plastic Memories

Sparks fly up, Boom.
Shards of Venus rain.
I look in your eyes and see the moon.
Soon pressed in my heart, a purple stain.

I put the ring on you,
Waterfalls behind a dam.
You say… ‘I love you’,
With love left only to cram.

I know it’s your time.
Yet you worry of mine.
Stupid… Foolish… Death is a crime.
But as always you wanted the last line.

Your arms drop. Wilted is my flower.
My cracked heart will never heal.
This heart is not mine; I’ll never scour.
Image of you forever… Sealed.

Our love may be short.
But I’ll keep it alight
And treasure these thoughts
With all my might.

Forever & Forever…
